Mark Stainbrook
Chief of Police, Beverly Hills PD (Ret.)
Mark Stainbrook is a nationally recognized law enforcement and security executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning municipal policing, counterterrorism, intelligence, military operations, and international security. He most recently served as Chief of Police for the City of Beverly Hills, retiring in June of 2026, and previously held senior leadership roles with the San Diego Harbor Police Department and Los Angeles Police Department.
A retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, Mark’s military career included assignments in civil affairs, information operations, and special operations support, with deployments throughout the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. He has also worked with the U.S. Department of State to train international law enforcement personnel in counterterrorism, intelligence, and community policing.
Mark is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and a Fulbright Police Fellow. His distinguished career includes more than 60 LAPD commendations, the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for Heroism, and the California Police Chiefs Association’s prestigious Joe T. Molloy Award.
